మనం ఎందుకు పూజిస్తాం Ganesha?

ప్రతి పూజలో — లక్ష్మీదేవికి, విష్ణువుకు, శివుడికి ముందే — గణేశుడిని పూజిస్తారు. ఎందుకంటే ఆయన విఘ్నహర్త, ఆరంభాలకు అధిపతి. ఆయన దీవెన లేకుండా ఏ శుభకార్యం మొదలు పెట్టినా పునాది లేని ఇల్లు కట్టినట్లే. స్వయంగా దేవతలు కూడా తమ పూజలు మొదలు పెట్టే ముందు గణపతిని ఆరాధిస్తారు.

Small mouse (vahana) — The ego — Ganesha rides and controls the ego, not the other way around

Modak (sweet) — Reward of spiritual practice; the sweetness of liberation

Broken tusk — Sacrifice for knowledge — he broke it to write the Mahabharata as Vyasa dictated
